About Hope Paige

Founded in December 2003, Hope Paige Designs is the product of Shelly "Hope" Fisher's and Lisa "Paige" Hobyak's love of making jewelry. What started out as a hobby soon grew into a flourishing company that offers chic awareness jewelry and accessories, such as bracelets, pins and key chains, to help benefit various charities, along with stylish medical emergency bracelets that serve as a more desirable option than the typical medical bracelet to the millions of people that are required to wear one.

Originally the idea blossomed when Fisher and Hobyak made a bracelet for Hobyak's mother, who is a breast cancer survivor, to celebrate her triumph over the disease and to help raise awareness of breast cancer. The bracelet received rave reviews from Hobyak's mother and her friends, and it dawned on the jewelry-making duo that they had struck a chord among illness survivors and their loved ones. They started Hope Paige Designs and started selling their awareness jewelry here on hopepaige.com.

Developed initially to raise awareness of breast cancer, Hope Paige Designs soon branched out to other organizations to help spread awareness for their causes. Today, in addition to breast cancer research funding, Hope Paige Designs partners with Ronald McDonald House Charities and the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. At least 15% of each sale goes directly to these organizations.

Along with awareness jewelry, Hope Paige Designs also designs, manufactures and sells fashionable medical emergency bracelets, which are an alternative to the unbecoming, clunky look of typical medical emergency bracelets.

The idea for medical emergency bracelets came from a friend whose daughter Kristen, a teenager, wouldn't wear her clunky, obtrusive bracelet. Knowing it could endanger her daughter's life, the friend approached Fisher and Hobyak for help. They designed a pretty, fashionable bracelet specifically for Kristen that could also serve as her medical bracelet. Kristen now wears her bracelet at all times without feeling embarrassed or self-conscious.

Hope Paige Designs has since developed an entire line of fashionable medical emergency bracelets for men, women, boys and girls.

While Hope Paige Designs is a relatively young company, the hard work and dedication of Fisher and Hobyak is the key to evolving Hope Paige Designs as the premiere designer of fashionable medical emergency bracelets and awareness jewelry.
